was ok... happy to return to Antigua but would probably try a different resort...

great view, plunge pool, some staff, the restaurant around the corner (Miracles?)

some staff not that bothered, pricing wasn't really value for money...

Perfect location and hotel

The room was spacious and the huge balcony overlooking the ocean was a huge bonus. The resort is gorgeous and has lovely viewpoints. Staff is very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Room was specious, well appointed and with a great view! Staff, particularly the driver, were incredibly nice and helpful.

What was the highlight of Sugar Ridge Resort

Good, but could be better.

Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were wonderful as individuals, although management/organisation/communication was not great. Dinner at Carmichael’s was excellent.

Dinner menu at main hotel did not change very often and as we were on all inclusive, it was a bit tedious, especially as dinner at the up-scale Carmichael’s restaurant was only allowed once as part of the package. No dedicated pool staff, so some days beds were not put out and some of the sunbeds were in poor condition and mattresses were damp and mouldy. Some of the garden areas needed litter picking and tidying up. Overall, not what we would expect from top rated resort.

Nice setting, nice staff, a bit of a pain getting to beach, restaurant food average but expensive

Never made it to the beach as was only there for 3 days and it seemed like a bit of a mission.

Good

Pretty property and they offered yoga. Rooms were very large and spacious. When our phone didn’t work properly they promptly changed it out. concierge was very helpful when scheduling a complex tour. Pools are nice and well maintained.

Dining experiences for dinner were bad. We were told one thing when we ordered. Confirmed it twice and then we were charged twice the stated amount and management would not make it right. Breakfasts were inconsistent in food preparation and amounts. Noise from best western construction next door went on all day. Our first morning the hotel ran out of water and we couldn’t take showers, use the toilet or brush teeth. This was for several hours. Staff is not overtly friendly but we think that’s the norm in the island from what we have observed. While the value wasn’t bad, I noted we could have booked a room for this week $100 less per day if we were booking now. Stairs are plentiful and you have to use them to get anywhere. I’m averaging 44 a day on my Fitbit. They are uneven and some in poor repair. The first night, we were told we could get a shuttle ride into the local town area. When we asked the next day, we were told at the front desk they didn’t do that. There were many in consistencies and what we were told and what would actually happen.

Beautiful hotel with views and fantastic breakfast. Expect a few steps!

The hotel is beautiful, with fantastic views. The breakfast was fantastic every morning. The shuttle bus's to the beach were great, and the staff are really really lovely. The location is great - so close to the main shop, and loads of beaches and restaurants.

The room felt like it hadn't been used in a while, there was a smell at the beginning. We had construction work taking place right in front of our room. Would have liked to have either been told, or placed in an area where it wasn't so blocking of the view The beautiful infinity pool at the top of the resorts bar was hardly open.

Excellent

The bed was divine. Lots of privacy on the balcony with a lovely view.

The shower are seemed to water log quite easily.
